Overall Ranking:
Initially
we found that it is hard to acquire all the information you are looking
for before choosing to borrow money from SLCash.com. Within a few
minutes though we felt right at home. Presentation is clean but core
information is not always available. Interest rates and fees are not
displayed anywhere on the site and that is because they choose from
multiple different lenders and find you the best solution. It would be
very helpful if they posted minimums and maximums pertaining to rates
and fees. Another item of importance that you won't find is minimum
requirements for loan approval. This could cost you valuable time in
your search for a loan institution to help you out.
Finance Charge:
They
use the "find the best lender" method from a pool of lenders so that
they can not determine the rate until a lender approves your loan.
Typically the borrower using this method occurs fees from $15 to $30
per $100 borrowed, but not always.
Usage:
Easy site to find your way around but lacking in crucial information.
Very high credit limit of $1500 for those seeking large sums of money
from payday lenders. FAQ's are a little shy of detailed information and
just give very general brief statements to questions mentioned.
Customer Service:
They
offer an online contact form for questions prior to loan approval or
membership. The response time is not mentioned on the form so it is
hard to say how quickly you might get an answer to your question. There
is no live chat or phone support available that we could find.
Security:
They do have a secure form when applying for your loan, but you must select it manually. Be very careful and make sure to click the secure application link before submitting your financial and personal information.
Summary
SLCash.com
will probably find you the cash you need from their lenders group and
the rates will be presented to you at that time. They do have a much
higher maximum lending amount than most paycheck or payday lenders. It
would be highly recommended to contact them first and tell them the
limits on what your willing to pay for the amount you want to borrow.
This way you will protect yourself from getting a loan that you might
just not want after all.
